TO COMMEMORATE THE SEASON OF FRIGHT, i'd like to share to all of you guys my top 10 scariest movies of time. so if your in for the chills, better check these movies out. (oh yes im a lover of horror movies)
10TH:
ALIEN (1979)
this sci-fi flick is the spookiest i've ever seen. just look at that thing, looks very real and deadly. especially when you get to watch it. goes with the tagline, "in space, no one can hear you scream".
9TH:
THE SIXTH SENSE (1999)
this is a very remarkable suspense movie with a very good twist at the end. plus very good acting by the kid who played the role of a boy with a gift to communicate with souls. goes with the tagline "Not every gift is a blessing".
8TH:
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST. (1984)
Freddy Kreuger is a goofy type, but also very very scary. he tortures people in their dreams which makes this movie's plot very original. i think the song really gives me the goosebumps, "one, two, Freddie's comin' for you".
7TH:
JAWS (1975)
great speed? great strength? great teeth? totally a perfect chomping machine. lotsa lotsa blood. yummy.
6TH:
THE SHINING (1980)
this one made all the hairs in my body stand all throughout the movie. all the scary parts kept me at the very edge of my seat. (xempre! scary nga db?!) sus
5TH:
DISTURBIA (2002)
this movie isn't entirely scary, but i could still consider it as a perfect nail-biter. very thrilling and very good acting from its actors.
4TH:
JU-ON (2003)
the second best of my fave asian horror flicks. very chilling. the best scenes here are the "under the blanket scene" and the "stair-crawling scene". .
3RD:
THE EXORCIST (1973)
this is unbelievably a very frightening movie to watch. in fact, it still continues to frighten its audiences until today. truely a classic.
2ND:
HALLOWEEN (1978)
a must-see. dont know if they've done any better at the new remake. but i think this is still the best.
1ST:
RINGU (1998)
watch this and you'll feel like Sadako's stalking you all the time.

the exorcist is definitely my scariest movie. i didn't even watch all the parts - for 3/4ths of the movie i was under the sheets.
haha DQ u shoudve finished watching it. its a great movie, but as u said, its a movie that'll definitely keep u under the sheets :D
i hate scary movies.....i like watching them but when nakakatakot na, i hide under my shirt...hahahaha.....fave ko yung the sixth sense, nice twist sa story kasi.
gusto The Others kase crush ko date si Nicole Kidman pero sice wala sa list mo ang The Others.. Ke Sadako na lang ako.. I love You sadako. I'll marry you when I see You (Lord sana di sya magpakita. I beg you)

out of ten, disturbia which is the latest, is the only one i havent watch yet.. well, hopefully this weekend..
sadako and toishio! wahhh scary tlaga! but si toishio hindi tlaga ako pinatulog and a week na hindi naligo ng sobrang tagal... hehehe
may favorite akong ghost flick nung bata ako, yung nalalaman nung bida kung sino ang sunod na mamamatay base dun sa lumalabas na number sa noo nila, hehe.
haha, panalo ang "The Ring". up to know it still gives me the chills. hehehe
nice list yun nga lang di ko napanood lahat...either mahirap humanap ng kopys or likas lang talaga akong duwag...hihi
